Eliot Lloyd Short
Eliot Lloyd Short is a versatile songwriter, musician and composer. He is a mulit-instrumentalist performing on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar and singing, frequently using music technology in his live performances. For many years he was an actor/musician for the National Theatre’s production of War Horse.
Eliot has been writing for contemporary classical ensembles and music for theatre since 2012, collaborating with Jack Holden in conjunction with Bristol Old Vic, sitarist Shama Rahman and Romanian composer Maria Moraru, as well as community interest group Age Exchange.
His first string quartet, The Golden Road, is currently being recorded by Modulus Quartet and they will be premiering his second quartet, Evolutional, in Oct 2016.
